Stitch, Print, Felt and Make Susan Shing

Stitch, Print, Felt and Make

Meet a fibre artist and learn about their process and practice at this Open Studio organised by the Australian Textile and Surface Design Association (ATASDA). Members of ATASDA, a non-profit organisation formed to promote, foster and develop textile art traditions, fibre artists and surface designers, will be working on current projects.

Activities will include an introductory card and printmaking workshop where participants will create a design, make a printing plate and print on card or collaged surfaces. When dry these can then be stitched or further embellished as desired. Participants will have a design and printing plate to take home.

As part of Craft Up Late, ATASDA member Susan Shing will run a felted jewellery ‘Make and Take’ workshop.
