Angel messenger . go-between . guardian and Uplifting: Paintings and Ceramics

Woodpapersilk will host two exhibitions. Angel messenger . go-between . guardian is a group exhibition in which each artist interprets the exhibition title in their own unique way, with their preferred techniques and disciplines. This exhibition is in acknowledgement and celebration of 11 years of showcasing textile art, contemporary jewellery, ceramics, paintings, printmaking, glass and basketry at woodpapersilk in Sydney’s inner west. Artists include Nicole Robins, Glenese Keavney, Tony Hooke, Tracy Hopkirk, Ro Cook, Ingo Voss, Fiona Roderick, Sylvie Riley, Susan Cowley Carrasco, Vicki Osmond, Judith Macrae, Sue Macleod-Beere, Gwynne Pender, Libby Hobbs, Lindy Rose-Smith, Gill Brooks, Meryl Blundell, Katharine Finch, Romana Toson, Kimie Kitamura, Katie Clulow, Steven Bray

Uplifting: Paintings and Ceramics. Libby Hobbs has recently packed up her country home and studio and has moved into town. This is a collection of her work which has been sent on a journey of its own.
