Print Unlimited workshop

All The Rivers Run To The Sea

Print Unlimited invite schools and students along the Cooks River to learn about organic screen printing. Students will learn how to use sunlight to expose screens, and how to print and cure using water-based inks in the sun. This technique significantly reduces the equipment needed for screen printing and therefore barriers to creating.

Print Unlimited aim to change the screen printing environment to water-based inks so the print industry stops polluting our rivers. They teach people how to create micro exhibitions, employment and business ideas through making professional art.

Details: Saturday 13 October, 10am – 5pm; Craft Up Late where you can see hand-printed designer yardage fabrics made using water-based inks: Thursday 11 October, 5 – 8pm; Bookings: printedition.com.au
